If you've been through the Compare Stocks article, this one is pretty much the same thing. If not, here's a quick intro.

As the name suggests the tool gives a detailed comparison of mutual funds/ETFs (that you select) across various parameters. You can choose from the list of Popular Mutual Funds, toggle through our existing list of categories, or custom-pick the ones you wish to compare. Here's a snapshot.

[Note: In our example and this article, we'll be looking only into MFs, the process for the ETFs is the same, so we won't get into it twice.)

Let’s explore each section. On the left side, you have two main sections, starting with the Compare Mutual Funds tab. As you can see, the highly intuitive designs make things like adding and removing MFs/ETFs a breeze.

Once you choose the MFs/ETFs and hit the detailed comparison, a box will appear like this:

You can see the performance across various timeframes based on your holding period strategy.

The last section is an important one– A detailed comparison. As the name suggests this is where the gold lies (not literally, don’t go searching for your mining tools.

By default, we have selected key metrics like AUM, 1Y, 3Y, and 5Y returns, and so on. This is fully customizable and you can choose from our lists of metrics to find ones that fit your needs.
