ETF Report: Analysis

The next main section is Analysis. It’s further divided into three categories. 

We’ll be starting with the Key Talking Points. As you can see from the image, we cover the positive, negative, and neutral points in this. For each point, if you want more details about a particular Key Point (say low tracking error), just click on that point and details will appear like this:

Next in this section is Equity Insights

If you are analyzing an equity fund, equity insights are crucial. They are further divided into 3 sections: Style analysis, Red flags in stocks, and Detailed equity insights.

• Style analysis (refer to image above)

Style analysis provides sharpely value, momentum, quality, and QVM score. These scores are calculated based on the proprietary algorithm of sharpely. They give you insight into which kinds of stocks are picked by the fund manager.

• Red flags in stocks (refer to image below)

Equity insights in ETFs also list all the red-flag stocks that the fund has invested in. We cover several red flags, like

• Declining revenue
• Earnings manipulation risk, as identified by the Beneish M-score
• High leverage 
• Negative cash flow from operations

• Detailed Equity Insights (refer to the image below)

You can find all the holdings of the ETFs along with their weight in this section.

The last sub-section in this category is Debt Insights
