Mutual Fund Report: Introduction

To open a mutual fund report, just search for a mutual fund scheme on the search bar. 

Let’s go into the details now. We’ll take the Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund as our example.

This is how the screen looks by default. Let us now explore each bit in detail. As you can see there are five main sections here. 

Starting with the Overview. The mutual fund performance (highlighted in yellow box) shows the performance of the fund against the benchmark index in different timeframes. 

Next to it (highlighted in green box) is a fully customizable section offering quick insights into key metrics. 

Up next we have the details about the fund like Basic details, Managers (managing the fund), Objectives & Overview. Starting with the Basic details, this tab shows details like Fund house, inception date, AUM, lock-in period, and so on.

In the Managers section, if you wish to get more details about the manager simply click on the manager’s name you wish to know more about and details will appear like this:

Under Overview, we discuss this scheme's objective and provide a detailed overview of the category. We'll now move on to the next article and talk about the remaining sections.
