With the sharpely Index Report, get detailed insights into any index and make informed investing decisions.

Loaded with data and unique insights, the sharpely Index report gives you access to institutional-grade research for index research and analysis.

To open an index report, just search for an index using the name on the search bar.

We will study the Nifty 50 index as our example. This is how the screen looks by default.

Let us now explore each bit in detail. As you can see there are four main sections here.

Starting with the Overview. You can see the index and its value across different timeframes.

Next to it (highlighted in green box) is a section offering quick insights into key metrics. You can also see the returns generated by the index across different timeframes.

If you scroll below this, we show two important things– Historical Performance and Constituents. Let’s start with the Performance tab.

As you can see highlighted in the green box is the index performance against the benchmark. You can change the date range and the benchmark index.

Next to it in the red box, you can see other comparisons between the index and the benchmark. You can toggle between the options (marked with red arrow.) Currently, you can see the performance summary.

Next, we have the constituents, that give you a list of stocks under that index. In the next article, we’ll explore the Fundamentals section.
