Stock Screener: Super Stocks in Nifty 500

by Pranav Nanekar Mar 12, 2025

Example 10: Super Stocks in Nifty 500

Category: Smart Beta Screens

While the previous example focused on finding high-momentum stocks with good value, this screen aims to go one step further– finding super stocks!

If you’re still unfamiliar with it, super stocks are stocks that have the best of all three worlds (value, momentum, and quality). Let’s see what parameters were used to filter such stocks.

First, you click on ‘Add rule’ in your Basic builder and search for ‘sharpely stylebox’, and once this screen pops up.

You choose ‘Super Stock’ like we did and hit on done. This will directly give you the list of all stocks that fit into the category we’re looking for.

However, there’s still a bit of filtration needed, we don’t want flagged companies or ones with too little market cap. We also need stocks that are backed with good solid volumes.

How to Build This Screen

Now, the filters are set and we can run and use this screen.

Let’s see how it performs.

Backtest Results

As you can see, the screen struggled in the initial period, so it must have been a neck-to-neck competition in the beginning, but it did well in the longer timeframe.

That’s it. We hope you’re now well acquainted with our basic and advanced screen builders and also know how to build effective screens.

Start building your screens, play with different strategies, find your ideal screens, and if you feel like it publish it in our community. You get paid, every time someone clones your screen.

So, don’t wait…

Get set, and go!!!
