India proposes new per-unit charge on Bangladesh electricity imports, 1,160MW supply affected
Adani Power Limited's 1,496MW supply to Bangladesh from its Godda plant in Jharkhand will not require a separate Settlement Nodal Agency agreement, Bangladesh Power Development Board officials said, as its existing power purchase agreement already contains provisions covering such charges. The supply is part of Bangladesh's total 2,656MW imports from India.

Sebi turns down Adani-linked FPIs' settlement applications
Adani Power Limited is one of seven Adani Group stocks whose trading was reviewed by India's Securities and Exchange Board of India between March 2020 and December 2022, as Sebi rejected settlement applications by 13 FPIs with concentrated Adani holdings and will continue proceedings to determine if the FPIs were genuine public shareholders.

SHANTI puts private nuclear power in play. Are investors getting ahead of the story?
Adani Power Limited is evaluating sites in Madhya Pradesh for potential nuclear power projects after India's SHANTI Act, 2025, and draft SHANTI Rules, 2026, opened civil nuclear generation to private players. Elara Capital and JM Financial analysts cited Adani Power Limited as a potential long-term beneficiary of small modular reactors, but JM Financial cautioned the opportunity is years away due to pending rules, procedures, fuel, liability and talent challenges. The stock trades at 31.05 times versus a five-year average of 14.04 times and has gained 43.7% so far in 2026.
