Amber Enterprises India, described as an over Rs12,000 crore homegrown company, is among four domestic players planning to apply for eligibility under the Centre's Mobile Phone Manufacturing Scheme (MPMS), whose rules were notified last week with an earmarked budget of Rs62,500 crore over five years.
