Andrew Yule & Company Limited is engaged in the business of both manufacturing and sale of black tea, transformers, industrial fans, tea machinery, turnkey jobs, and others. The Company’s segments include Engineering, Electrical-Kolkata, Electrical- Chennai, and Tea. The Engineering segment has a product range in its line of operation, such as industrial fans both in axial and centrifugal type, air pollution and water pollution control equipment, and others. The Electrical- Chennai segment manufactures power transformers from five megavolt-amperes (MVA) to 63 MVA in 33 kV to 132 kV, 20MVA in 220 kV Class, Auto Transformers up to 100 MVA 220 kV Class and Generator Transformer up to 40 MVA 132 kV Class. The Tea segment is involved in tea growing and manufacturing. The Company has two operating units out of which one is in Kalyani, West Bengal and one in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and 12 Tea Estates out of which seven are situated in Assam and four are situated in Dooars and one in Darjeeling.
