Axis Bank Limited is scheduled to announce its July-September Q2 FY27 results on October 17, alongside HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Yes Bank, as part of a week in which 129 companies are due to report.

Motilal Oswal Financial Services estimated Axis Bank's net interest income to grow 8.5% year-on-year and 1.9% quarter-on-quarter, with a marginal decline in credit costs amid lower technical slippage.

Axis Bank Limited reported provisional growth of about 23% in advances and about 21% in deposits, with savings balances up about 11% and term deposits up about 27% including FCNR money. Mukesh Jindal of Alpha Capital said the update shows demand has not collapsed but does not confirm earnings, noting the reliance on costlier term funding could pressure margins.

Nomura forecast Axis Bank Limited to report 17% year-on-year core PPOP growth in Q2FY27, contributing to an acceleration to around 16% for large private banks, with NIM seen down 7 basis points quarter on quarter on mix dilution and return on assets down modestly as assets expand.
