BEML Limited is developing India's first indigenous high-speed trainsets for the 508-km Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor, with the first two eight-coach prototypes designed for 280 km/h and initial operation at around 250 km/h expected to reach the Surat depot in the first quarter of 2027, alongside a conceptual 350 km/h B-35 version.

BEML Limited is producing 10 Vande Bharat sleeper trainsets with support from the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai, as part of Indian Railways' plan to introduce more than 200 sleeper trainsets for overnight routes.
