Exide Industries Limited invested Rs 199.99 crore by subscription to equity of wholly owned subsidiary Exide Energy Solutions Limited on a rights basis, taking total investment to Rs 5,102.23 crore, as part of a board-approved infusion of up to Rs 1,400 crore for a greenfield multi-gigawatt lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility.
