HFCL Ltd snapped a four-day 13% losing streak to hit its 5% upper circuit of Rs243.01 on the NSE, driven by its Q1 FY27 return to a Rs245.64 crore profit, 119.85% revenue growth to Rs1,914.98 crore, a record Rs26,665 crore order book and a three-year $244 million optical fibre cable supply deal, with Axis Securities analyst Rajesh Palviya maintaining a bullish view with near-term upside to Rs255-260.

HFCL Limited saw foreign institutional investors more than double their stake to over 15% in Q1 from 7% in Q4, while its stock jumped 214%. The increase comes as HFCL guided for 40% FY27 revenue growth, approved a Rs 215 crore facility for AI data centre connectivity, and outlined a defence revenue trajectory from Rs 77 crore in FY26 to Rs 5,000 crore in FY29. Deven Choksey Research initiated coverage with a Buy and target of Rs 362, implying 53% upside.
