HG Infra Engineering Limited received a letter of intent from REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Ltd, to construct 220/132/33 kV AIS substations at Ranipur (Mau) and Chunar (Mirzapur) with associated lines in Uttar Pradesh through a tariff-based competitive bidding process on a build, own, operate and transfer basis, with transmission charges of Rs 45 crore per year for 18 months, after being declared a qualified bidder in May.
