Vodafone Idea has agreed with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India's proposal to allow satellite operators to function as infrastructure providers, aiming to expand commercial communication services.

Vodafone Idea has supported a compromise approach regarding spectrum ownership, suggesting that while user link spectrum should remain with service providers, SCN entities should be allowed to hold feeder link spectrum to operate effectively.
