KFin Technologies Ltd saw about 1.51 crore shares, representing 8.75% equity worth around Rs 1,400 crore, change hands at Rs 925 per share in the block deal window on August 20, with General Atlantic reported as the likely seller. The trade was at a discount of about 2.4% to the previous close of Rs 948, versus a reported floor price of Rs 919.56 at a 3% discount. General Atlantic held 21.9% at end-June and its stake would fall to about 13.2% if the entire block is attributed to it, pending official disclosure of buyers and sellers.
