Bank of Maharashtra plans to raise $500 million through three-year or five-year U.S. dollar-denominated bonds in September under the Reserve Bank of India's concessional swap window in its debut dollar issue. Fitch Ratings has assigned a BBB-minus rating to the bank's $500 million medium-term note programme, with net proceeds to fund its head office in India, foreign offices and general corporate purposes.
