Ola Electric Mobility Limited has approved a rights issue of 37,02,72,665 partly paid-up equity shares at Rs 27 per share, aggregating to approximately Rs 1,000 crore, with Tuesday, October 13 fixed as the record date for eligibility.

Ola Electric Mobility Limited disclosed in its October 7, 2026 Letter of Offer for a Rs 1000 crore rights issue that its internal systems for tracking sales, order fulfilment and after-sales service are unverified and may undercount or overcount performance. The disclosure follows scrutiny by the National Stock Exchange of India and SEBI over its February 28, 2025 claim of selling over 25,000 electric vehicles, which the company later clarified referred to order bookings, not registered sales. Ola Electric Mobility Limited also disclosed an April 10, 2026 SEBI show-cause notice to the company and promoter Bhavish Aggarwal alleging fraudulent and unfair trade practices and listing violations, and said it filed a settlement application with SEBI on June 8, 2026.
