Tata Communications is investing in subsea cable infrastructure between India and Singapore, enhancing its TGN capabilities with a new cable system and joining a consortium for another, aimed at supporting the growing data center market in India. The new subsea cable systems are expected to be operational by Q4 2029, although the exact investment amount has not been disclosed.
