Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited reported September-quarter net profit of Rs 810 crore, up 120.1% from Rs 368 crore a year ago and ahead of the Rs 654.4 crore CNBC-TV18 poll estimate. Revenue rose 23.8% to Rs 9,300 crore, EBITDA surged 76.6% to Rs 1,026 crore, and EBITDA margin improved to 11% from 7.7%, with all metrics beating poll estimates.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited is set to announce its September-quarter FY27 results on October 14, with its shares closing 0.56% higher at Rs 442.35 ahead of the announcement. SMC Global Securities analyst Seema Srivastava expects strong double-digit revenue growth, a multi-fold rise in net profit and EBITDA margin expansion, while Kantilal Chhaganlal Securities analyst Mahesh M Ojha sees near-term upside toward Rs 448, Rs 460 and Rs 474 with a stop-loss at Rs 420.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, in consortium with Titagarh, has been assigned to manufacture 80 Vande Bharat sleeper trainsets under Indian Railways' expansion plan for more than 200 overnight sleeper trains.
