Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited saw Samir Arora-backed Helios Mid Cap Fund sell 3.99 lakh shares in July as part of a complete exit from seven stocks.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited was named by Elara Capital and JM Financial as a potential long-term beneficiary of India's SHANTI Act, 2025, and draft SHANTI Rules, 2026, which would allow private participation in nuclear power and expand opportunities for equipment manufacturers. JM Financial noted Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited trades at 92.3 times versus a five-year average of 115.1 times and has gained 47.8% so far in 2026, but cautioned that final rules, operating procedures and project execution will take years.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited fell nearly 2% on August 18 after Life Insurance Corporation of India reduced its stake in the company to 5.6%.
