The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency signed a Rs 2,941.19 crore loan agreement dated 9 October 2026 with NOPL Solar Projects Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vikran Engineering, to partly finance a 969 MWac/1,163 MWp solar project in Maharashtra with a total cost of Rs 4,201.70 crore. The agreement covers disbursement, repayment, security, covenants and default terms, with no right to nominate directors or participate in Vikran Engineering's management.
