Shyam Metalics and Energy reported Q2FY27 consolidated sales volume growth of 26% year-on-year to 1.5 million tonnes, with September revenue up almost 40% to over Rs 2,000 crore. The company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Maharashtra government for a 9 million tonne per annum integrated steel plant in Chandrapur entailing Rs 50,000 crore investment, and is executing about Rs 14,000 crore of capex to expand capacity to 14.6 mtpa by FY31.
