Solar Industries India Limited, represented by founder Satyanarayan Nuwal, said its weaponised loitering munitions were used by the armed forces in Operation Sindoor with four additional variants under development, that it built India's largest high-energy materials facility after total import dependence five to six years ago and now earns about 40% of revenue from exports to Israel, the US and Europe, and that its indigenous micro-missile-based counter-drone system Bhagavastra has completed successful testing for submission before the end of October.

Solar Aerospace and Defence, the defence unit of Solar Industries India Limited, has been named as a likely contender for major upcoming contracts after the Defence Research and Development Organisation invited private companies to bid for future development and production of strategic missile and bomb systems.
