Tata Power Company Limited, through Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, has launched its Har Ghar Solar initiative in Bihar to facilitate rooftop solar adoption in five lakh homes over three years, backed by the state government under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, and also launched its Mysine battery storage system in the state.

Tata Power Company Limited has shortlisted locations in Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Gujarat for potential nuclear projects following India's SHANTI Act, 2025, which came into force on 20 December 2025, and the draft SHANTI Rules, 2026. Analysts said the framework allowing a single licence to build, own and operate nuclear facilities could benefit Tata Power Company Limited in small modular reactors long term, but JM Financial said it is too early to buy power stocks purely on the SHANTI narrative. Tata Power shares were up 0.4% so far in 2026.
