National Securities Depository Limited, through its issuer NSDL Payments Bank with EbixCash Payment Solutions, registered more than one crore NCMC RuPay smartcards in five months under Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation's Smart Card Concession Project, replacing paper concession passes for students, senior citizens, persons with disabilities and other notified categories across about 16,000 villages with offline chip-based validation.
