TVS Motor Company Limited is jointly developing an electric mini-truck with Hyundai Motor Company targeting a 2027 rollout to rival Tata Motors' Ace, building on their April 2026 electric three-wheeler joint development agreement under which Hyundai leads design and TVS leads local sales and manufacturing in India.

TVS Motor Company is at the centre of a dispute within the Venu Srinivasan family over recognition and allocation of economic ownership and family wealth. Venu Srinivasan and his son Sudarshan Venu, Chairman and MD of TVS Motor Company, are on one side, while Mallika Srinivasan and daughter Lakshmi Venu seek dialogue for a fair settlement. TVS Holdings owns 56 per cent of TVS Motor Company, and Sudarshan Venu was disclosed as a significant beneficial owner through trust structures.

HSBC raised its target on TVS Motor Company Limited by 7.1% to Rs 4,500 while keeping a Hold rating, saying at about 39 times earnings it accounts for all positives. HSBC expects September-quarter volume up 27.3% with margin 30 basis points higher.
