Home First Finance Company India Limited said it has financed more than 600 individual homes certified under new green-building standards co-developed with the International Finance Corporation and aims to scale to around 10,000 certified homes before issuing green bonds to attract ESG-focused foreign capital. The lender, which raised Rs 280 crore via up to 7-year debt from IFC in December 2022, holds a 'Low Risk' ESG rating of 13.6 from Sustainalytics, 46 on S&P Global ESG/CSA and a 'strong' score of 69 from Crisil Ratings in June 2026.
